The Quadreria dell’800 was founded in 1992 with the aim of making available to collectors the experience gained from thirty years of commercial and technical knowledge of 19th-century Italian painting (with a particular focus on the Lombardy and Veneto school), as well as giving voice to the incredible passion of its founder, Emanuele Motta.

Since 2007, the founder has been joined by his son Enrico, who took over the Quadreria in 2018 and whose goal is to lead the family business into the new decade while maintaining its values ​​and mission intact.
